‘The Editor’s Market’ is a growing global fashion brand that was borne in Singapore. Their style is best known for its quintessential ease, effortlessness, and timelessness that are all synonomous with the modern minimalist woman.
We incorporated structural curves, added stone and organic materials like marble to help achieve the understated look. We wanted the warmth of the oak walls to juxtapose just right with the cool hardness of the concrete floor.
The concept behind The Editor’s Market is ‘futuristic meets chic’. Our client tasked us with the challenge to incorporate a lot of silver and sheen, without making it feel visually overwhelming and sci-fi.
It was important to us that the track lighting illuminated gently and softly on the walls and through the clothes.
Because the clothing stands and the flooring are all tough materials, it was important to us that the track lights help marinate the stylish pieces with warmth.
The main space is shared strategically between The Editor’s Market and Hhugo. To create a seamless experience, we extended the cashier counter so that the statement wall bridges the two spaces with ease.
